A 64-year-old man who was critically injured by multiple dogs succumbed to his injuries recently, passing away last Friday. In recent years, it seems like dog bite cases have been grabbing headlines more frequently than they were before. Is this a sign of declining responsibility by dog owners? Are more people owning dangerous dogs or dangerous breeds? Is there even anything to this perceived phenomenon?
The subjects of animal attacks and dog bites are touchy indeed. The victims of such attacks obviously want justice, while the owners of dogs or other pets swear that they are not responsible or liable for the victims injuries. Of course, it all depends on the circumstances involved in each particular case. Still, people want to know what happens when an animal attacks:
Before anybody decides to get a pet, they need to fully consider the responsibility they are taking on -- especially if you are considering getting a dog. Dogs can be tremendous companions that fulfill part of your life, but they also demand a lot of attention, training and affection. It is no small feat to properly train an obedient dog.
Dog bites aren't talked about enough. Even though dogs are man's best friend, they can also be incredibly powerful and vicious animals too. When a dog views another person as a threat and they attack with unrelenting force, the victim often suffers terrible injuries. In the worst case scenario, the person loses their life.
